Senior Java Developer with Algorithms and Data Structures

We are seeking a remote Senior Java Developer with AWS proficiency and an in-depth understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our team. In this role, you will design and build scalable and maintainable software solutions. You should have mastery over a variety of technologies, including Java, Kotlin, Scala, and Go Language, as well as an understanding of Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure. You will work within a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product delivery.

responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions
Develop and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions
Create and maintain code following clean coding practices
Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverables
Ensure the timely delivery and quality of code
Participate in Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
Participate in system design and architecture discussions
Document code and system architecture
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 4 years of software development experience, particularly with Java
Prior professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proficiency with Data Structures and Algorithms
Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL tools, as well as APIs and Integration
Proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
A strong sense of ownership and a proactive problem-solving approach
B2+ English level

nice to have

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
