Senior Java Backend Developer
We are seeking a remote Senior Java Backend Developer to join our Data Integration & Streaming team. As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will work at the intersection of our systems and platforms that contribute to and consume data. You will be responsible for building performant and scalable data streaming/ETL solutions, while ensuring the reliable handling of data and integration with Microsoft Azure Cloud stack, specifically Events Hub, and SQL Server. Additionally, you will be expected to have practical experience with Docker containers and Debezium.

- Design and develop performant and scalable data streaming/ETL solutions with Java
- Ensure reliable handling of data and integration with Microsoft Azure Cloud stack, specifically EventsHub and SQL Server
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data integration needs and requirements
- Implement and deploy Docker containers for data streaming/ETL solutions
- Ensure integration with Debezium for data ingestion and processing
- Participate in code review and testing to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Continuously learn and develop technical skills, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in developing backend solutions with Java
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud stack, including Events Hub and SQL Server
- Experience with Docker containers
- Proven experience in building high-performance and scalable data streaming/ETL solutions
- Proficiency with C/C++, Rust, Javascript, or Python
- Knowledge of Debezium and Data Handling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and develop innovative solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach to work
- Fluent in English, with at least Upper-Intermediate proficiency level for effective communication with stakeholders
